Mildred M. Williams
Mildred Mary Newsham Williams, daughter of Herbert Lee and. Frances Mangel Newsham was born 10, September 1903, at Carleton, Nebraska, and died November 1, 1996, at Belleville Health Care Center, at die age of 93 years, one month and 22 days.
She attended school in Carleton, Nebraska, and graduated from Republic High School, Republic. Kansas.
She was united in marriage to William H. McClure in 1922 and to this union two children were born She was united in marriage to Ervin Richard Williams on June 9, 1938 at Belleville, Kansas. They were married 53 years.
They operated a greenhouse in Schuyler, Nebraska, and a flower shop in Point Loma, California. They later moved to Anaheim, California, Where she was a homemaker. Upon retiring in 1970, they moved back to Belleville.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ervin, sisters, Alma and Tresa, and one grandson, Alan McClure. She is survived by a daughter, Eleanor McEwen, and a son, William H. McClure, Jr., Republic, Kansas; stepsons,
LaMont Williams and Donald Williams, Omaha, Nebraska, Wayne Williams, Littleton,Colorado; 15 grandchildren and 34 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 196, at the First United Methodist Church, Belleville,
Kansas, with Rev, Paul Morris officiating.
Interment was made in Belleville Cemetery
