  [S927] Obituary. Mary Memmer,90.dies:124 called her "Grandma" Haubstadt-Mrs.Mary E. Memmer,90,died on Sunday morning at Gibson General Hospital. She was born on Sept.4.1886,in the Eastern part of Gibson County, and was the oldest member of St.Bernard's Catholic Church.She also was a member of the Altar Society and Barton Township Community Club. Surviving are 5 daughters,Mrs.Velma Hamilton of Oakland City,Mrs.Hazel Klusmeier of Princeton,Mrs.Ida Mae Muller of Mount Vernon,Mrs.Ruth Spindler and Mrs.Dorothy Spindler,both of Haubstadt;two sisters,Gertrude Maikranz of Evansville and Mrs.Ruby Rogge,of Evansville;46 grandchildren;67 great grandchildren,and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 5 sons;Clarence,Raymond,Norman,Elmer,and Adrian;one daughter,Mrs.Martha Pugh and her husband,George J.,who died in 1939. Members of the parish will pray the rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Wade Funeral Home,where friends may call after 6 p.m. on Monday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church,with burial in the church cemetery.Rev.Francis Bauer will officiate.The body will lie in state at the church from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday.
