Judy A. Duley

PEKIN ~ Judy Ann Duley, 62, of Pekin, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at her home.
Born March 19, 1950 in Pekin to Henry and Elceina (Crawford) Ficklin, she married James R. “Jim” Duley on September 1, 1972 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are four children, Holly (Pete) Fisher of East Peoria, Richard (April) Duley, Robin (Holly) Duley, and Brittany Duley, all of Pekin; eight grandchildren, Anthony Fisher, Andrea Fisher, Mark Duley, Alyson Duley, Brett Duley, Audrey Duley, Emily Duley, and Collin Duley; one sister, Janice (George) Craig of Fort Myers, Florida and one brother, Jerry Ficklin of Pekin. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and one brother, Jim Ficklin, preceded her in death.
She was a 1968 graduate of Pekin Community High School.
Judy worked at the Zales Jewelry Store in the Pekin Mall from 1980 to 1992, last working as manager.
Judy enjoyed shopping, gardening, traveling to Florida to see her sister, the beach, and collecting angels. Judy had a big heart, was genuine and compassionate, and always put others needs ahead of her own. She was very passionate about animals and loved cats.
Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Randy Justus will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
