Ann Marie Gedeon, 87, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Monongahela, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Kings Grant House, Virginia Beach. She was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Pasquale and Rosaria DiNatale DiBernardi. Mrs. Gedeon had resided in Virginia Beach for the past six years. While living in Monongahela, she was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish (St. Anthony Church) and had retired from Corning Glass Works in Charleroi. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Dorianne (Jack) Sharp, of Virginia Beach, Va.; son, Ted Gedeon, of Santee, Calif.; daughter, Gail Gedeon O'Quinn, of San Diego, Calif.; son, Dan Gedeon, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Sharon Nash, of Monessen; five grandchildren, Justin (Amy) Nash, Jimmy (Monica) Nash, Leigh Ann (Dax) Kelly, Taylor Sharp, and Jaime (Travis) Weeks; seven beautiful great-grandchildren, Hagan Weeks, Dax and Chaz Kelly, Jimmy, Kennedy, Alex and Hannah Nash; brother, Dominick DiBernardi, of Dunlevy; niece, Rose Marie Govi; nephew, Lewis DiBernardi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis T. Gedeon; and her son, James Nash. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. in St. Damien of Molokai Parish (St. Anthony Church) with the Rev. William Terza, pastor, as celebrant. There will not be any visitations prior to the Funeral Mass. Everyone is asked to gather at St. Anthony Church, 100 Chess St., Monongahela. Committal services and entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kings Grant House Staff Christmas Fund, 440 North Lynnhaven Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23452; or to Hospice Foundation, 717 N.
