Kennedy-Betty Mae (Joncour), 82, Belmont, died February 12, 2006, at Jefferson Medical Center, Pittsburgh. Born July 8, 1923, in Barnesboro, daughter of Sylvester and Amanda (High) Joncour. Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Michael D. Kennedy Sr.; Brother's: Donald, and Clinton; Sister, Mary Kathryn.
Survived by children: Thomas F., married to the former Gayle S. Beigay; Jacqueline E. Brunetto and Marty Gonta; Michael D. Kennedy Jr. married to former Eulalie K. Kearns; Mary Elizabeth, wife of William C. Delaney Sr., and Elaine Marie, wife of Kieran A. Tuite.
Grandchildren: Jennifer, wife of Jeffrey Koziarski; Sean Kennedy, married to former Sarah Gilch; Amy Brunetto, and fiancé, Sean Phillips; Adam Brunetto; Daniel, Michael D. III and Kelleigh Kennedy; Robert Delaney, married to former Laura Walls; William C. Delaney Jr. and fiancé Sara Nickling; Katie Elizabeth and Ryah Noel Delaney; Maura and Logan Tuite.
Great-grandchildren: Jacob, Megan, Macy, Cullen and Briella: Sister-in-law, Gerrie D. Kennedy: and Brother-in-law Jack Kiniry.
Graduate of Windber School of Nursing in 1945. Nursed at Windber and Conemaugh Memorial hospitals for over 49 years and was a member of the Retired Nurses Association and St. Benedict's Catholic Church.
Will be sadly missed by family and friends. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Moskal and Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Ohio Street and Highland Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Benedict's Church, the Rev. Monsignor Robert Saly, celebrant. Interment, Richland.
