Bio: Jean Ann, 87, of Hart/Shelby, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at her home in Shelby. She was born to Clarence and Henrietta (Jorissen) Bruckman. She married Vernon Evan Lambrix on October 19, 1946. He passed away on March 27, 1992. Jean Ann was raised in Hart and graduated from Hart High School. She was a cosmetologist in Hart until her retirement in 1995. She was a long-time member of St. Gregory Catholic Church of Hart. Jean Ann was an active golfer, not taking up golf until the age of 66. She golfed in Oceana County at the Colonial Golf Course and at the Golden Sands Golf Course. In Palmetto, her winter home from September to May, she was a member of the "Ladies Golf League" at the Palm View Golf Course. She is survived by her children, Linda (Earl) Peterson of Shelby, Arnold (Ellen) Lambrix of Hart, and Daniel (Janice) Lambrix of Muskegon; her brother, Joseph (Billie) Bruckman of New Albany, Indiana; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Richard Bruckman, and sisters, Virginia (Fred) Schaner and Elnora (Bernard) Tate. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lambrix was Friday, July 12, 2013, at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Hart with Father Thomas Bolster presiding. There was a rosary prayed. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Oceana Council on Aging Volunteer Driving Program, Hart, MI.
