Moore, 58, Barnesville Postmaster, resident of 607 East Main Street, Barnesville, died Saturday, April 21, 1973 at 2:55 a.m. at the Barnesville Hospital. He was born at Barnesville October 12, 1914, a son of the late Luther and Martha Borton Moore. He had been an employee of the Postal Service for 35 years and was a member of the Church of the Assumption, Barnesville; a member of the Holy Name Society and the Barnesville Elks Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Polly Hunkler Moore of the home; five children, Mrs. Charles (Linda) McLeish of Marrietta; Miss Melissa Moore of Arlington, Va., Dan Moore of Akron, Mike and Joe of the home; and seven grandchildren. Friends were received at Campbell & Plumly Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection was offered Monday, April 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption Church. Burial was made in the Assumption Church Cemetery, Barnesville. The Rosary was recited Sunday evening at 7 at the funeral home, and the Elk?s Lodge services were held at 7:45 p.m.
