Mary Crock Paumier, age 97, of Louisville, loving mother, grandmother and great-
grandmother, passed away Monday, October 1, 2001, in Louisville. Mary was born in
Fulda, OH, on April 23, 1904, to the late William and Barbara Crock. She graduated
from Kent State University and taught at Fairhope, Edgefield and North Nimishillen
Schools, retiring in 1974. Mary was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church, St.
Ann's Altar and Rosary Society, Mission Club, and Retired Teachers (STRS). She
taught Catholic Christian Doctrine at St. Louis Church (CCD). Mary enjoyed playing
cards, gardening, her family and friends, and doing for others.
Mary leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. David and Patricia Paumier of Oxnard,
CA; a daughter, Carolyn Scheetz of Canton; a son-in-law, John Schumacher of Louisville;
two sisters, Eleanor Evrard of Louisville and Rita Schneider of North Canton; a sister-in-law,
Joanne Crock of Louisville; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded
in death by her husband, Clarence L. Paumier who passed away in 1994; her daughter,
Barbara Schumacher who passed away in 1997; her son-in-law, Henry Scheetz who passed
away in 1999; two sisters, Rosa Kramer and Lucy Smith; and a brother, Joe Crock.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic
Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends
may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services at the
Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
Mary's family wishes to express they're (sic) thanks to the staff at St. Joseph Care
Center and all those who attended to her care and who visited her. Their special care and
attention will always be appreciated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made
to the Activity Fund at St. Joseph Care Center of the St. Louis Church Building Fund.

Obituary:Rosa M. Kramer, age 81, formerly of 613 N. Walnut St., Louisville, passes away Monday, May 29 at St. Joseph Hospice. Born in Braddock PA October 3, 1907, to the late William and Barbara Crum Crock, she worked for 34 years as an elementary school teacher in the Canton and Louisville School systems, retiring in 1976. She taught at Fairhope Elementary School for 13 years. A member of St. Louis Catholic Church and St. Ann?s Altar & Rosary Society, she taught CCD at St. Louis for many years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 1966. She is survived by one daughter, Jane Kramer, of Columbus, two sons, Lawrence Sr. of Louisville and Richard of North Canton; six grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Crock of Louisville, 5 sisters, Mrs. Mary Paumier and Mrs. Eleanor Evrard - both of Louisville - Mrs. Amelia Kagle of Canton, Mrs. Lucy Smith of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Rita Schneider of North Canton.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Calling hours were on Wednesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Joseph Hospice.
