Hi, My grandfather was James Sagmiller (Crazy Jake - an original barnstormer, and owned airstrip in Mandan). At Ellis island, some of the family names got changed to Stegmiller. He was originally from Germany settled in Mandan, ND, later settled in Puyallup Wa. Was a pilot, fisherman etc. Married Margaret Schmidt, Sons James, Steve, and Eugene, (my father), and daughters Helen and Delores.
