Author: Susan Muller I had a greatgrandfather named John Casper Rennert. My grandfather's name was Edward George Rennert. He was from Newark NJ and married to Alice Walsh. My father is Edward Lorne Rennert and as a child they moved to Brooklyn NY. That is where my family is from. We have a family bible that gives us the surname Moser from Blankenborn Germany. We are assuming a Moser married a Rennert when they came to the states. My sister & I are planning a trip to Blanenborn to obain any other family history. Forty-nine pretty young girls and bright young men
graduated from Grammar School No. 34 last night.
The exercises were held in the Tabernacle M.E. Church,
Manhattan Ave., near Noble St. The large edifice was
packed early in the evening by the friends of the
graduates. The interior of the church was handsomely
decoratedd and draped with flags, while the stage was
banked with flowers and potted plants.
A little after 8 pm the graduates, headed by Principal
Frank R. Moore, marched on the stage.
