Marcella Rosina Kleeman was born on 14 April 1916 in Clinton, IL, the fifth child of Louis and Lena Kleeman. She married George Phillip Link on 3 July 1933 by Justice of the Peace, then had a church ceremony on 12 February 1934 at Resurrection Church in Cincinnati.

Together they had six children:

1. Marcella Ann (born 19 September 1934)
2. Gary Lee Eugene (15 July 1938)
3. George Phillip Jr. (18 June 1942)
4. Mary Lou (7 November 1945)
5. Edward Allen (1 December 1947)
6. Donna Sue (5 August 1952)

Marcella and George divorced in 1958, and she remarried Joseph Rombach on 3 October 1963. He passed on 8 March 1993, and Marcella died on 10 December 1999.
