    Ned A. Nisley
    (1930 - 2000)
    EDGERTON - Ned A. Nisley, 69, of rural Edgerton, died late Friday evening, July 7, 2000, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fort. Wayne, Ind., following an extended illness.
    He was born July 10, 1930, near Kunkle, to Ruth (Stambaugh) and William Nisley. On July 14, 1950, in Farmer, he was married to Virginia Dietsch, and she survives.
    A veteran of the United States Army during the Korean conflict, he was a truck driver for 18 years, most recently working for TMX trucking. He and his wife also operated Rosedale Stables and Harness Shop near Edgerton and he was a past president and member of the Buckeye Border Bluegrass Club. He was also a maintenance man for Milford Township.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joe Nisley of Bryan; three daughters, Mrs. Alonzo (Mary) Buchs of Edgerton, Cheryl Nisley of McComb, and Mrs. Walter (Rose) Carpenter of Edgerton; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Perkins of Kunkle.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Jac Nisley; and a granddaughter, Chasity Carpenter. Visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. at the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton.
    Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor James O. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Farmer Cemetery.
