CARS CRASH SHOUTH OF ZANESVILLE;
FOUR DIE, THREE INJURED
ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AP) - A car heading north carrying four
Ohio State University students back to school after a weekend
home . . . A car heading south bringing four Caldwell women
back to their homes. . .
The two met headon on Ohio 146 about 15 miles southeast
of here Sunday night. The result - four deaths and three persons
hospitalized. One youth escaped uninjured.
Killed were Thomas Yontz, 18; Miss Louise Clark, 50; her sister,
Inez, 55, and Mrs. Hattie Wile, all of Caldwell.
In Bethesda hospital here are Richard Yoss, 18, of Woodsfield,
driver of the car carrying the youths; Phillip Yontz, twin brother of
the teen-ager killed and Miss Thelma Rice, 60, of Caldwell.
