Alleman, 70, of Woodsfield, died Friday (June 23, 2000) at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, W.Va. He was born Feb. 18, 1930, in Monroe County, a son of the late John and Ella Reef Alleman. He was retired from Ormet Corp. in Hannibal. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Bertschy Alleman; a son, Roger Alleman of Woodsfield; three daughters, Karen Jones and Nancy McKelvey, both of Woodsfield, and Sandy Fontana of New Philadelphia; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, with Paul Eddy officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home.
