Birth: Nov. 11, 1897 Hutchinson County South Dakota, USA Death: Apr. 25, 1974 Parkston Hutchinson County South Dakota, USA Hertha Helena TESKE born 11 November 1987 on her grandparent's farm south of Menno, Hutchinson County, South Dakota was the daughter of Samuel TESKE and Karolina DOERR. Hertha after her early education in the Dewey School in Charles Mix County near Mansbridge, moved with her parents in 1915 to their new farm near Corsica in Douglas County. On the 23rd of December 1915 she married John Frederick STOEBNER at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Corsica, by Pastor Friedricksen, after which she returned with John to the Stoebner farm near Tyndall in Bon Homme County, where they lived with John's parents, Frederick and Magdalena (Schmidt) STOEBNER. Their marriage was blessed with 3 daughters; Orina, Leona and Eltha. Hertha and John farmed in Bon Homme County until they retired to Tripp in 1947, where they enjoyed the next eleven years together.
