Tripp - Funeral services for Shirley Stoebner, 64, of Tripp, South Dakota will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 12 at Frieden's Reformed Church in Tripp. Interment will follow in Frieden's Cemetery, Tripp. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Shirley passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Avera St. Benedict Health Center in Parkston, South Dakota. Her adoptive parents were Walter and Jacklynn (Ritersdorf) Malaj Her family moved many times and she attended different schools through the 8th grade. During her younger years, she was a hotel housekeeper in Yankton. Shirley was married to Larry Stoebner on November 5, 1976 at Tripp. She enjoyed reading religious articles, magazines and novels. She loved to play board games, Old Maid, and Solitaire and watch soap operas with her children. Shirley passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2009 at Avera St. Benedict Health Center in Parkston at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 14 days.Shirley is survived by her husband, Larry Stoebner, of Tripp; two sons: Greg Stoebner of Selby and Herbert Stoebner of Mitchell; and two half-brothers: Rick Malaj of San Francisco, California and Tony Malaj of Phoenix, Arizona.She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jacklynn Malaj.
