MRS. RAYMOND SMITH
Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria M. Smith., 48 212f Dresden Road, Zanesville, wife of Raymond M. Smith, an employee of The Zanesville Signal, were held at 9:00 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Sylvester's Church in Woodsfield, with Rev. Robert A. Brown officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday evening July 21st, at her home after an illness of ten months.
She was born near Woodsfield on December **, 1905, the daughter of George and Veronica Wahl Miller, and had made her home in Zanesville for 28 years. Until her illness she had been employed for five years at the Old Towne Cleaners.
Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Zanesville.
Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. George (Marjorie) Burkhart, of Woodsfield; Mrs.William (Rita Anne) Sheldon, of Zanesville, and Miss Mary Lou Smith, of the home; three granddaughters, Tamalin Louise and Ellen Anne Burkhart, of Woodsfield, and Mary Lynn Sheldon, of Zanesville; Mrs. Veronica Miller, of Martins Ferry; three sisters, Mrs. Leo (Maria) Burkhart, of Woodsfield; Mrs. Roderick (Genevieve) Engelmeier, of Salem, and Miss Loretta Miller, of Martins Ferry, and two brothers, Paul Miller, of Martins Ferry, and George Miller, Jr. of Washington, D.C.
The body was removed to the Forest Avenue Chapel of Meder-Peoples Funeral Home in Zanesville, where it ******* three o'clock Friday afternoon ********* (Remainer unreadable)
