JOSEPH KLEIN DIES AT HOME
Joseph E. Klein, 75, Lafayette businessman, died in his home, 511 South Twenty-Sixth, at 9:45 p.m., Tuesday. He was one of the owners of the Rapp and Klein Cigar company business at Fifth and Ferry streets. He had been ill five weeks and was hospitalized for a time recently. Born in Lafayette, he spent his life here and was married to Treca F. Norris in 1923. His wife died last Dec. 8th. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church and BPO Elks 143. Surviving are a nephew, Joe Maslin of Lafayette, who was reared in the Klein home, and two sisters, Mrs. Hubert F. Lange of Lafayette and Mrs. Gertrude Wickham of San Diego, California.

KLEIN, Joseph E. - Friends may call at Zahn-Schneider funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Services in St. Boniface Catholic church at 9 a.m. Friday, Rev. Flavian Maltaner officiating; burial in St. Boniface cemetery. Rosary service in funeral home at 7 p.m. Thursday and Elks service at 7:15 p.m.
