EARLY DAYTON RESIDENT DIES
DAYTON, September 8 - Louisa Albertina Rossner, 68, passed away at the McMinnville hospital, August 31, after a short illness. She was born in Dayton, a daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Bertram, on May 24, 1881, and has lived in this community all of her life. She was married to Leonard A. Rossner, on June 29, 1904, at Dayton.
To this union were born four children all of whom survive her: one daughter Madalene E. Rossner of Dayton; three sons: Theodore B. and Roswell A. of McMinnville and Ronald F. of Salem. Her husband preceded her in death on December 27, 1935. Also surviving are six grandchildren.
She was a member of the Evangelical church; Naomi Rebekah lodge and Electa chapter, OES, and had held many offices in these organizations.
Services were held Friday, Sept. 2, at 3:30 in the Dayton Pioneer church. Rev. Chester P. Gates had charge of the services with Rev. H. Ryan assisting. Pall bearers were: Oscar Dower, Brooks Sweeney, Earle Coburn, Robert Hodge, Harry Sherman and Cletes Gell.
Interment was in the Evergreen Memorial Park near McMinnville, with Macy and Son in charge.
