Denzel, 83, of Wayland, Mich., and formerly of Huntington, died Wednesday (July 25, 2001). Mrs. Denzel was born May 23, 1918, in Huntington to Joseph Holzinger and Anna Wehr Holzinger. She married Charles Denzel, who died in 1997. She is survived by a son, Ronald Denzel; two daughters, Ellen Denzel and Mrs. Mark (Vicki) Horning; a sister, Ann Moore; a brother, Richard Holzinger; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Calling is from noon-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. (Huntington time) Friday at the Archer, Hampel & Kubiak Funeral Home, 312 N. Main St., Wayland, Mich. There will be a Parish Vigil service at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8 a.m. (Huntington time) Saturday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, Wayland Township, Allegan County, Mich., with Father Gary Pamment officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
