He was born Aug. 12, 1920, in Pittsburgh, Penn., to Joseph August and Katherine Abt. He married Billye Jane Beck on Dec. 20, 1945, in Denver, Colo. Mr. Abt was the owner of National Yellow Pages and a member of the First Christian Church of Cleburne. Mr. Abt is survived by his three sons, Jeff V. Abt of Nacogdoches, Kelly B. Abt of Houston and James M. Abt of Cleburne; daughter, Kathy J. Potts of Millsap; 11 grandchildren, Brannon Potts, Greg Potts, Anna Middlebrook, Brien Abt, Joel Abt, Ryan Abt, Abigail Abt, Jeffrey Abt, Will Abt, Elizabeth Abt, Keely Abt; and four great-grandchildren.
