CHRISTINA (HOLSOPPLE) FYOCK died at her home in Penn Run yesterday afternoon, August 27 at
4:30.
Born in Somerset County November 12, 1861, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Holsopple and wife of the late James M Fyock.
She had lived her entire life in Penn Run and was active in church and civic affairs. For 70 years she had been a member of the Church of the Brethren, and for many years was president of the Ladies Aid Society in Penn Run.
She is survived by one son, J. Edwin Fyock, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Harry Holsopple, Penn Run, Ira C. Holsopple, Sargentsville, N. J., E. E. Holsopple, Greensburg, and Quincy A. Holsopple, Elgin, Ill.
Friends are being received at the Sutila Funeral Home, 904 Wayne Avenue, until 11: A.M. Tuesday,
Aug. 30. The body will then be removed to the Church of the Brethren, Penn Run, and viewed until 1:45 P.M. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. by the Reverend John Clawson. Ineterment will be made in the Brethren Cemetery, Penn Run.
