Fyock, Barbara 'B.J.' Lakeview

A memorial service for Barbara 'B.J.' Fyock of Lakeview will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Cook and Cotter VFW Auxiliary officiating.
Mrs. Fyock died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was 72. She was born Feb. 21, 1931, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Arnold S. and Berniece W. McCallum Carlson. She married James L. Fyock March 12, 1990, at Harrison. She was a retired licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Fyock lived in Lakeview, moving from Sioux City, Iowa, in 1985. She was an avid Bingo player and lifetime member of Cotter VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary of Mountain Home and F.O.E. 3183 Auxiliary. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
She is survived by daughters Sandie (Terry) Melton and Amy Thalmueller, all of Lakeview, and Martie Collins of San Antonio; sons John (Kim) Alexander of Lexington, Ky., and Mark Alexander of Kissimmee, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Jeff Johnson, Tony Allred, Danielle Collins, Cameron Collins, Beth Tate, Leslie Sasser, Scottie Melton, Brook Alexander, Angus Alexander, Trent Alexander, Debra Westenhaver and Dana Thalmueller; several great-grandchildren; several cousins, including Mike Fisher of Mountain Home; stepsons David (Tammy) Fyock of Phoenix and Richard (Jeri) Fyock of Creston, Iowa; and stepdaughter Cathy (Jim) Keeley of Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant sister, Beverly Carlson.
Burial will be at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
