Edna RobinetteEdna Mae Robinette, 94, a resident of The Villages, Fla. and formerly of Edgewater, died of natural causes Dec. 30 in Summerfield, Fla. after a five-month illness.Born March 29, 1911, in Hooversville, Pa., the daughter of the late David Samuel and Mary Fisher Fyock, Mrs. Robinette was a homemaker and member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Edgewater.Her interests included sewing, gardening and needlepoint.On Nov. 3, 1930 she married Samuel J. Robinette Sr., who died March 27, 1989. Surviving are one son, Samuel J. Robinette Jr. of College Park; one daughter, Barbara A. Stokes of The Villages, Fla. ; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater. Burial will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Marion County, 17421 S.E. 109th Terrace Road, Summerfield, FL 34491 or the charity of one's choice.
