MARY M. BROWN
Mary M. Brown, 86, died Friday Nov. 24, 2006, at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
She was born Jan. 12, 1920, at Wellington to Raymond and Vernae Belle (Haskins) Fyock.
She lived in Emporia and moved to Ottawa in 1966.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ottawa.
She was a homemaker.
She married Raymond Glenn Brown Feb. 4, 1940, at Baldwin City. He preceded her in death June 22, 2006.
Survivors include son, James "Jim" Brown, and his wife, Betty, Lafayette, Calif.; daughter, Glenene Marie Brown, and her husband, Rick, Winchester, Va.; daughter, Sheryl Ann Crawford, and her husband, Rick, Ottawa.; daughter, Kristie Lynn Jessop, and her husband, Brad, Sulphur, Okla.; sister, Irene Wood, Ottawa; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, James Leroy Fyock; and sisters, Viola Mae Crump and Verna Rae Black.
Friends may pay their respects until the service hour at Dengel and Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Family will meet with friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
