FYOCK ? Fay E., 87, Richland Township, died May 23, 2008, at Rosewood Assisted Living. Born Aug. 5, 1920, in South Fork, son of George and Ella (Berkey) Fyock. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Walter, Norman and Alvin; and sisters, Laura Reighard, Tresa Rhoads, Ida Cummings and Irma Day. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, the former Irene Blank; and children, Gregory Heidingsfelder, and wife, Ginger, Delaware; Jeffrey Fyock, and wife, Anne, Johnstown; Cynthia, and husband, Joseph Barkhimer, Ohio; Curtiss Fyock, Johnstown; and Cheryl, and husband, Robert Reed, Harrisburg. Also survived by grandchildren, Stephanie Michael, Carrie Skalski, Eric Heidingsfelder, Scott Fyock, Melanie Ribarich, Matthew and Jason Barkhimer, and Krystal and Miranda Reed. Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was a member of SS. Gregory and Barnabus Parish. He was a longtime employee of the Johnstown Planing Mill Co. An Army veteran of World War II. By request, there will be no public viewing. Those who wish, may attend a funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at SS. Gregory and Barnabus Parish, Daisytown, the Rev. Robert L. Ruston. Committal, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills. Published in the Johnstown Tribune Democrat from 5/24/2008 - 5/26/2008.
