John J. Dauenhauer John J. Dauenhauer of 2210 Canyon Drive, who worked for the City Water Department for several years and as a carpenter in the Billings area, died at his home Tuesday of natural causes. He was 62. He was a veteran of World War II. He was born in Mott, N.D., a son of Jacob and Rose Dauenhauer. He came to Billings in 1955. Survivors include his stepmother, Amelia Dauenhauer of Mott, N.D.; five sons, Larry, Stanley, Robert and Randy, all of Billings, and Tim of Jardine; two daughters, LaVonne Bailey of Rochester, Wash., and Rose Schlauch of Great Falls; five brothers, Roy, Al and Louie, all of Billings, Ike of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Henry of St. Tirrie, Manitoba, Canada; two sisters, Sally Habbrstroh of Rapid City, S.D. and Bea Henley of Santa Nella, Calif.; and seven grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending at Michelotti Sawyers Mortuary. Burial will be in Soldiers Circle at Mount-view Cemetery.
