September 3, 1917 Muskingum County, Ohio (obituary) ANDREW ARNOLD IS CALLED FROM LIFE, BURIED WEDNESDAY An illness from a complication of diseases caused the death of Andrew Arnold, aged 80, a well known and influential farmer, residing on Route 7, in Wayne Township, at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. His condition had been critical for the past several days. Mr. Arnold was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church and was highly respected in the community in which he lived. Surviving him are his widow and the following children; Mrs. Louis Armbrust, F. P. Arnold, Mrs. Anthony Armbrust, Albert Arnold and John Arnold of this city; the Misses Anna and Margaret Arnold and Frank Arnold of the home, and William C. Arnold of the South River Road. The funeral will be conducted at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church at 9 o'clock Wednes- day morning. Burial will be made in Mt. Olive. The Times Recorder Tues. September 4, 1917 Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio (obituary) Andrew Arnold, aged 80, Civil War veteran and a successful farmer of Wayne Town- ship, died at his home on Dietz Lane Sunday morning at 11 o'clock after an illness from infirmities. He has been in grave condition for several. Mr. Arnold served in the 169th O. V. I. He was a devout member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Surviving him are his widow and the following children; Mrs. Louis Armbrust, Albert Arnold, Mrs. Anthony Armbrust, F. P. Arnold and John Arnold, all of this city, the Misses Anna and Margaret and Frank Arnold of the home and Willaim C. Arnold of South River Road. The members of the local G. A. R. will meet at the corner of Fifth and Main Streets at 2:30 this afternoon, where they will take automobiles to the Arnold home in Wayne Township, and will hold the ritual of the organization over the body at 3 o'clock. The funeral will be held from the St. Nicholas Church at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning and burial will be made in Mt. Olives.
