J Donald McAlister, 74, of Beallsville, died Tuesday, June 26, 1973, at 5:05 pm in Washington Hospital.
He was born December 22, 1898, in Monongahela, the son of James B and Mary Martin McAlister.
Mr McAlister was a retired employee of Hillman Coal and Coke Co where he worked for 43 years. He belonged to Memory Chapel of Vanceville.
Surviving are his wife, Sophia; two sons, Donald of Arlington Heights, Ill, and Paul of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Marian, wife of James B Lancaster of Beallsville, and Anna wife of Robert L McGowan of Washington; one sister, Adelaide Wilson of Charleroi; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and one sister are deceased.
