She was born September 17, 1919 in Byesville, Ohio; daughter of Roy E. and Marie (Waddell) Walters. She retired as a pinner from Scio Pottery in Scio, Ohio after serving 30 years with them. She was a member of the Greensburg Church of God. She is survived by husband, Harry Slevin; one daughter, Jo Anne (Robert) Zarie of Northfield Center, Ohio; one sone Robert (Pamela) Slevin of Williamston, S. C.; three sisters, Mary Lou (William) Davis of Akron, Ruth (William T.) Slevin of Barnesville, Ohio, Esther (Thomas) Rucinski of Akron; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nices and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother. Calling hours Wednesday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. prior to services at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Ciriello Funeral Hill/Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Winston Pike officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
