  [S438] Family History Data Michael Wiist. [S927] Obituary. Anna H. Brunaugh, 87, died at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Eunice C. Smith Nursing Home in Alton. She was born Dec. 18, 1918, in Henrietta, Texas, to Pete and Christine (Horth) Wiist. A homemaker, she married Elmer C. Brunaugh Jr. on April 1, 1944, in San Bernadino, Calif. He died Feb. 7, 1996. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Terry Elliott of Bunker Hill; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Christena Brunaugh of Bunker Hill, David and Kathy Brunaugh of Carbondale and Thomas and Tammy Brunaugh of Frazeyburg, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rose Butler of Sherman, Texas, and Freda Musik of Amarillo, Texas.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Bruno, Herbert, Oscar and Ed; and five sisters, Elsie, Alma, Louise, Kathrine and Lydia.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Landers Funeral Home in Bunker Hill, where services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday. The Rev. LeRoy Fahnestock will officiate. Burial will be at Upper Alton Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Woodburn Congregational Church.
