A party in Mogadore was attended by 115 friends and family members, hosted by his nine children and attended by guests from Ohio, Florida, Connecticut, Georgia, California and Michigan.Robert was born April 14, 1917, in Randolph to Frank and Mary Paulus. He lived in Randolph for 53 years and attended Randolph High School.He was employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and with Sears.Robert married Corine Mudd on Nov. 20, 1940. He was widowed upon her death in September 2003. Their nine children are Marian Paulus of Massillon; David Paulus of Mount Dora, Fla.; Robin (Paulus) Wassmuth of Tolland, Conn.; Chuck Paulus of Jonesboro, Ga.; Mike Paulus of Apopka, Fla.; Tom Paulus of Stow; Ken Paulus of Orlando, Fla.; Bernie Paulus of Kissimmee, Fla.; and Bill Paulus of Suffield.Robert enjoys his family, including his 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and traveling.

  [S927] Obituary. Robert W. Paulus Robert W. Paulus Robert W. Paulus, age 91, of Kissimmee, Fla. formerly of Suffield, Ohio passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 after a brief illness. Born in Randolph, Ohio on April 14, 1917, to the late Frank and Mary (Rothermel) Paulus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Corine (Mudd) Paulus. Survivors include his nine children, Marian (Canton, Ohio), Robin Wassmuth (Tolland, Conn.), David (Mt. Dora, Fla.), Chuck (Jonesboro, Ga.), Mike (Apopka, Fla.), Tom (Stow, Ohio), Ken (Orlando, Fla.), Bernie (Kissimmee, Fla.), Bill (Suffield, Ohio); grandchildren include, Suzanne Paulus, Michelle Sullivan, Chris Paulus, Matt Paulus, Ben Paulus, Jill Reitz, Teresa Steinlechner, Ralph Paulus, Tony Paulus, Laura Fetters, Tammy Svenson, Dan Paulus, Bob Paulus, Brandee Paulus, Leah Wassmuth and Brian Wassmuth; and 15 great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his brother, Bernard E. Paulus of Akron, Ohio. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dobbs Funeral Home, 430 N. Kirkman Road, Orlando, Fla. 32811.
