  DOROTHY ELAINE FORNI: In an e-mail dated February 24, 2002, Dorothy Forni Frank wrote: I was born on a farm on German Ridge, which is located midway between Beallsville, Clarington and Powhatan Point, Ohio. I was the youngest of eleven children, two of which died as infants, and daughter to Carl and Elizabeth (Nippert) Forni. For four years I walked to a one-room school house, (Mt. Vernon) which was located on State Route 556. It was then closed and we were bussed to Beallsville where I finished grade school and graduating from high school in 1960, after graduating I went to Ohio State School of Cosmetology in Columbus, Ohio. In June of 1961, I came to Woodsfield and went to work in Charlene's Beauty Shop and later worked at the Kut-and-Kurl, where I was working when I met Jim and we were married in July of 1965. My brothers and sisters are: Helen (Forni) Sommers 7/18/28 , married 1/17/48 to Charles W. Sommers 1/7/26, and reside at Colerain, Ohio. (Eula) Marie (Forni) Clark 8/28/29, married 1/24/53 to Frederick Clark 5/19/31, and reside at Ft. Anne, New York. Floyd Forni 11/12/31--9/17/97 (Lived at Jerusalem, Ohio) Jessie (Forni) Spalding 12/23/31, married 1/22/55 to Vaughan Spalding 3/25/30, and reside at Henrietta near Rochester, N.Y.
