Obituary - Barnesville Enterprise: The death of Mrs. Rose Hughes occurred at her home two miles west of Barnesville Wednesday afternoon, March 15th, after a week?s illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Hughes was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Poulton west of town, and was born at Temperanceville November 14, 1893. In 1916, she was married to Augustus Hughes to which union one son was born, both of whom survive. Besides the parents, husband and little son, she leaves three sisters, Mrs. N. E. Slevin, Temperanceville; Mrs. Clara Rogers, New Castle, Pa., and Mrs. Zeta Boyd of this place; also two brothers, Boniface Poulton, Elwood City, Pa., and George Poulton of this place. The deceased was a member of the Catholic Church, and was very devoted to both her church and home. Funeral services were conducted at the Catholic church Saturday morning by Father William Robben an interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
