He was born August 27, 1914, in Barnesville, a son of George and Elizabeth Neuhardt Hines.A retired superintendent from Tri-State Asphalt Company, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville, Friendship Lodge 1304.Preceding him in death were his wife, Naomi Hines; three brothers and two sisters.Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Laco (Joan) Pickens and Mrs. Ranklin (Mary) Williams, both of Barnesville; a brother, James Hines of Barnesville; a sister, Jeanne Hines of Barnesville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.Friends were received at Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services were held October 21 with the Reverend Ron Hopkins officiating. Burial in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Pickens Fund in care of the First National Bank of Barnesville
