Ruby LancasterCORINTH - Ruby Wegmann Lancaster, 82, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a founding member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Golden Agers and the Ladies of the Red Hat Society. She was the retired owner of Wegmann's Grocery Store and Truck Stop. She enjoyed crocheting and visiting the elderly and shut-ins, and she loved her family and friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Warren Jones officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Survivors include two sons, Gerald R. Wegmann and wife, Marcia, and William J. "Bill" Wegmann, all of Corinth; one stepson, James Paul Lancaster and wife, Jean, of Ripley; grandchildren, Byron Wegmann and wife, Tina, of Walnut, and Thomas "Tom" Wegmann and wife, Tabby, and Casey Wegmann Boren and husband, Jeff, all of Corinth; stepgrandchildren, Jessica Luttrell of Bruce and Blake Holt of Columbia, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Anna Wegmann and Lillian Grace Wegmann of Walnut, and Tucker Lake Wegmann and Trace Dylan Wegmann of Corinth; one brother, Arthur Edmond Sanders of Walnut; two sisters, Valerie Nelson of Walnut and Lula Porterfield of Earle, Ark.; two daughters-in-law, Billie Faye Wegmann of Rienzi and Jeannie Wegmann of Walnut; one brother-in-law, Andrew Forsythe of Walnut; three sisters-in-law, Nell Sanders of Breamer, Ala., Elaine Wegmann of Rienzi and Geneva Wegmann of Corinth; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Grady L. Wegmann; her second husband, Howard Lancaster; her parents, William Arthur Sanders and Myrtle Nevels Sanders; her stepmother, Lillian Sanders; four brothers, Floyd Sanders, Herman Sanders, George "J.B." Sanders and Marshall Sanders; three sisters, Lillie Sanders, Katie Forsythe and Elvie Mae Beavers and husband, James; a stepbrother, Earl Orman and wife, Vernice; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Wegmann; and five brothers-in-law, James Nelson, Johnny Porterfield, Emile Wegmann, Frank Wegmann and Johnny Wegmann; two sisters-in-law, Vada Watkins and Veoni Crum. Pallbearers will be Morris Crum, Neal Thompson, John Stanford, Bobby Warren, Kenny Wayne Coleman, Joe Eddie Wilhite, Tommy Dunn and Grady Kuykendall.Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Spicy Red Hat Golden Agers.Visitation will continue from noon to service time today at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church building fund.
