Born January 29, 1906, in Perkinsville, she was a daughter of Jacob and Catherine Nold Gunther.On June 29, 1926, in the Sacred Heart Church in Perkinsville, she married Arthur Malter, who predeceased her in 1969.She was also predeceased by a son, Arthur "Buddy" Malter, in 1989; a daughter, Kathleen Walters, in 1993, and a grandson, Thomas Wellington in 1986.Mrs. Malter was a lifelong resident of Perkinsville, and a lifelong communicant of Sacred Heart Church.She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen (Bettie) Malter of Perkinsville, Frank (Joyce) Malter of Cohocton, and John Malter of Perkinsville; four daughters and son-in-law, Roseann (Donald) Lawrence of Arkport, Marlene (Charles) Wellington of Arkport, Dorothy (Leonard) Wager of Wayland, and Sally (Donald) Brooks of Wayland; a son-in-law, Arthur Walters; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Sequeiros of Honduras, Calif, and Kay Myrabo of Winter Park, Fla; and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.
