Visitation was noon today at Summit United Methodist Church until services there at 1 p.m. The Rev. Lloyd Calote and the Rev. Carolyn Webster officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit, with Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb in charge of arrangements. Mrs. DeLong was born June 22, 1914, in Monroe County, Ohio, to Jerome and Viola Lafferre Baker. She was a homemaker and was a member of Summit United Methodist Church for 51 years. Mrs. DeLong was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Russell DeLong; and a brother, Howard Baker. Survivors include a son and daughter in-law, William ?Billy? Russell and Maria DeLong of Summit; three grandchildren, Amanda Carter and husband Jason of McComb, William Russell DeLong Jr. and wife Sara of the Enon community and Karen McKenzie and husband Justin of McComb; four great-grandchildren, Laurabeth McKenzie, Justin Lane McKenzie, Aidan Ray Carter and Myles Jason Carter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Summit United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 1107 Baldwin St., Summit, MS. 39666.
