Obituary: Mr. Henry Poulton passed away at his home west of town Monday afternoon near three o'clock from a complication of diseases and dropsical condition lasting more than one year. Mr. Poulton was born near Grays- ville, Monroe County in August 1853 where he lived his early life.He was married twice, the first time to Mary Levis of Woodsfield, who died five years ago. To this union seven children were born, six of whom are living: George Poulton, Barnesville,; M.B. Poulton, Elwood City, Pa.; Oliver Poulton, Newark, Ohio; Mrs. Clara Rogers, New Castle, Pa.; Mrs. Ella Slevin, Temperanceville; Mrs. Raymond Boyd, Barnesville. He was married the second time to Elizabeth Burkhart who with the above children will survive him. Besides these, he leaves two sisters and one brother; Mrs, Sarah Mann, Tacoma; Mrs. Ursula Armbruster, Akron, Michael Poulton, Kent. Mr. Poulton was a farmer and highly respected. In his religion he was aRoman Catholic and lived by that faith. Funeral service was held in Barnes-ville Church of the Assumption Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock conductedby Rev. J.G. Mehler and burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
