StoebnerCAMERON?Funeral services for Herman Henry Stoebner, 87, of Temple were held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Patricia Dietrich officiating. Burial followed in Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts.Mr. Stoebner died Tuesday, Dec. 2, at his home.A retired warehouse manager for Sears, he was born April 20, 1921, in Burlington to John and Martha (Fricke) Stoebner.He married Sonora Lorenz on Oct. 17, 1944.Mr. Stoebner was a member of First Lutheran Church in Temple.He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Mikayla Combs, and six siblings.Survivors are his wife, Sonora Stoebner of Temple; three daughters, Barbara Hargrove of Academy, Brenda Stermer of Moody, Janice Ranly of Westphalia; and a sister, Dora Jungmann of Bishop; also, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church in Temple.

CAMERON – Herman Henry Stoebner, 87, of Temple died Tuesday, December 02, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Patricia Dietrich officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts. Family visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Stoebner, a retired warehouse manager for Sears, was born April 20, 1921 in Burlington to John and Martha (Fricke) Stoebner. He married Sonora Lorenz on October 17, 1944. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Temple. A great granddaughter, Mikayla Combs preceded him in death. Six siblings also preceded him in death.
