Mr. Miller was born in Butler, Indiana on March 1, 1928 to Herman Miller and Clara (Hess) Miller. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952. He married Carol Wagoner on September 21, 1957 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Waterloo. She preceded him in death in 1999. Mr. Miller owned and operated Wilford's Garage in Ashley for 31 years retiring in 2000. He was a long time member of the Ashley Fire Department. He also belonged to the Orland American Legion. In his spare time Mr. Miller enjoyed fishing, woodworking and bowling. Survivors include:three sons; Edward and Kitty Miller of KendallvilleBryan Miller of Fort WaynePhillip and Jessica Miller of Ashleytwo daughters; Vicki and John Herbert of AshleyPatty Miller and Andrea Henson of Syracuse, Indianaone step-son; Bill and Pat Davis of Ashleyone step-daughter; Lavern and Dick Buffenbarger of Michigansix grandchildren; Ben Miller, Kami Miller, Karlee Miller, C.J.
