Emily Fabacher Mullins July 10, 1945 - November 13, 2008 Share this obituary Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share in Email Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Emily Marie Mullins, age 62, the former Emily Marie Fabacher, who passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro.The Rev. Bill Melancon, pastor of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, will officiate at the services. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette and had been a caregiver for over 10 years. Survivors include three sons; Timothy Verret Sr. and his wife Ericka of Louisville, KY, Stafford "Chuck" Verret and his wife Michelle of Scott, and Cory Alan Verret and his wife Amy of Lafayette; three daughters, Cindy Lyman and her husband Jim of Hotchkiss, Colorado, Lisa Verret and her husband Kirk Mathison of Lafayette, and Kimberly Verret of Abbeville; twenty granchildren, Timothy Verret Jr. and his wife Jackie, Joseph Verret, Jonathan Verret, Eric Timothy Verret, Ronald Chiasson Jr. and fiance, Jaymee, Cassie Lyman, Joseph Lyman, Adelia Abshire, Mark Abshire, Christina Chapman and her husband Leonard, Makayla Kindricks, Dawn Landry and husband Shawn, Ricky Verret, Jeffrey Sonnier, Jillian Sonnier, Destinie Verret, Desiree Verret, Dalannie Verret, Ali Verret, and Cory Alan Verret II.; six great, grandchildren; five brothers, Clarence Fabacher of Lafayette, Edmond Fabacher of Youngsville, Marshall Fabacher of Texas, Mike Fabacher of Baton Rouge, and Keith Fabacher and his wife Sam of Fort Walton, Beach, Florida; five sisters, Theresa Manuel of Lake Charles, Dorothy Johnson of Lafayette, Brenda Fabacher of Scott, Angela Short and her husband Ricky of Broussard, and Madeline Short and her husband Deanie of Maurice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stafford James Verret, and by her parents, Clarence Fabacher and mother the former Theresa Hollier; one brother, Randy Fabacher; and one sister, Lucille Suire. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Tuesday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.
