MAURICE - Funeral services will be held at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice for Lucille 'Tuttie" Fabacher Suire, 58, who passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. The Rev. O. Joseph Breaux, pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice, will be celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services. Interment will take place in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Maurice. Mrs. Suire, the daughter of the late Clarence Fabacher and the former Theresa Hollier, both of Lafayette, was a native of Lafayette and resident of Maurice. Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Suire, of Maurice; three daughters, Sherri Luquette and husband, Billy, of Meaux, Shelly Leger and husband, Andre', of Carencro, and Katy Suire, of Maurice; two sons, Terry and Brian Sonnier, both of Maurice; former daughter-in-law, Sonya Sonnier; 11 grandchildren, Brandon Sonnier, Ashley Sonnier, Lynzie Sonnier, Justin Sonnier, Chelcie Sonnier, Alex Suire, Dusty Luquette, Mia Leger, Gabrielle Suire, McKenzie Theriot and Britton Leger; mother-in-law, Eunice Suire, of Maurice; six sisters; and five brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and father-in-law. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and will continue Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at the Delhomme Maurice Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Terry Sonnier, Brian Sonnier, Robley "Keith" Fabacher, John "Peanut" Guidry, Andre' Leger and Billy Luquette. Honorary pallbearers will be her 11 grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. She has touched a lot of people's hearts. She is a great friend, great mother and the best grandmother ever. The family would like to give thanks to all the caregivers, family and friends who stood by her side and gave compassionate care.
