From the Zanesville Signal (pg 3) 20 Sep 1939:
Mrs. Clarence Schott and infant daughter have been removed to their
home on Railroad street [Caldwell] from Marietta Memorial hospital. The
daughter has been named Connie Marguerite.
Obituary from the Zanesville Times Recorder, Dec 8, 1948:
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Schott, 50, wife of Clarence Schott,
Zanesville and Caldwell business man, died at an Akron hospital, follow-
ing an illness of two months. A native of Noble county, Mrs. Schott was
the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Swick. She was a member of St.
Philomena Catholic church at Caldwell.
Surviving besides her husband and father are five daughters, Mrs. Helen
Iams of Columbus, Mrs. Ruth Sausman of Akron, Eileen, Vera, and Connie
of the home; three brothers, Ralph, Lester and Clarence Swick of Marr; three
sisters, Mrs. Laura Schott of Caldwell, Mrs. Anna Hannahs of Braddock, Pa.,
and Mrs. Lorene Huffman of Harrietsville.
Mr. Schott was associated with the Standard Oil company in Caldwell and
Zanesville before moving to Akron.
