Obituary:
Mrs. Laura Edna Schott, 85, of Caldwell Route 6, died at noon Wednesday
[7 Jan 1981] at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Mrs. Schott was born Dec. 18, 1895, in Sycamore Valley, Monroe County,
daughter of Joseph and Margaret Burkhart Zwick. She was a member of St.
Stephens Catholic Church and the Catholic Womens Club of the church.
Surviving are her husband, Henry Schott of the home; one son, Paul, of
Caldwell Route 6, six daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Pauline) Schafer of Caldwell
Route 6, Mrs. David (Delores) Fazakas of Caldwell, Mrs. Frank (Beulah)
Cardarelli of Stowe, Ohio, Mrs. James (Mildred) Ackley of Caldwell Route 6,
Mrs. John (Betty) Oertle of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Time (Marilyn) Fleming
of Lander, Wyo.; two brothers, Lester and Claude Zwick both of Lower Salem
Route 2, Two sisters, Mrs. Anna Hanna of Braddock, Pa., and Mrs. Paul (Lorene)
Huffman of Harriettsville, Ohio; 46 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephens
Church in Caldwell, Msgr. Lawrence Luciana officiating, with burial in Mount
Olivet Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at Estadt Funeral
Home in Caldwell, where rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday.
