76, of Westmont Borough, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 26, 1944, in Johnstown the son of Merle E. and Elizabeth C. (Held) Fyock. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Helen Sustersich (Frank); Mary Jane Kleitches (Archie); infant sister, Arlene Fyock; Donna Hillegas (Al); Arnold Fyock (Arlene); Audrey Fyock; and Bruce Fyock (Carol).He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joann C. (Benya) Fyock; his son, Thomas G. Fyock, married to the former Kelly McQuillen, McMurray, PA; his beloved granddaughters, Caroline E. and Olivia C. Fyock; siblings: Dwight, married to the former Mary Delozier, Sidman; Robert, married to the former Christine Charney, South Fork; Janet, wife of George Sharp, Decatur, GA; Janice Fyock, Shelbyville DE; Howard, married to the former Patricia Lance, Litiz; and Regina Harris, Johnstown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Kenny was a 1962 graduate of Franklin High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1962 to 1965. He proudly served on the USS Eugene A. Greene during the Vietnam War. Kenny retired from Bethlehem Steel rod and wire division, was a courier for the Tribune Democrat and drove cars for numerous car dealers throughout the years. Ken loved taping football games for the Westmont Hilltop High School football team, which he did for the past 30 years. He enjoyed golfing with his best friends Pete Mider and Ralph Conrad; duck pin bowling; and watching the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates games. Ken was happiest spending time with his family and friends and attending the activities of his granddaughters who he was so very proud of. He could strike up a conversation with anyone he met and loved showing off his granddaughters pictures as they grew. He was a member of the former St. Rochus Catholic Church and now attends Resurrection Parish. He was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #0005; AARP; and the American Legion, Richland Post #0849. Kenny was a fantastic husband, father, grandfather and friend. Kenny, you were loved dearly and will be deeply and sadly missed by all who knew and loved you "Happy Pappy." Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Resurrection Parish 10 a.m. Friday, Fr. George Gulash, Pastor. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery with military honors by Conemaugh Valley Detachment #287 Marine Corps League. Ken's family asks that all attending his viewing and funeral Mass to please wear a mask. Because of the COVID 19 Virus a dinner in celebration of Kenny's life will be held at a later date.
