  [S927] Obituary. Hildreth ?Hyde? Keylor, 87 COLUMBIANA ? Hildreth ?Hyde? Keylor, 87, of 1063 McCloskey Road, died at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boardman Campus. Mr. Keylor was born Aug. 8, 1920 at Woodsfield, a son of Fred C. and Clara E. Drum Keylor. He lived in Columbiana for 55 years coming from Caldwell. He served three terms in the Civilian Conservation Corps. and then served in the U.S. Army Rangers, 5th Battalion, Company B in Central Europe during WWII. He was a member of the Columbiana Church of The Nazarene, National Veterans of Foreign Wars, Benjamin Firestone Post No. 290 American Legion, and the National Rangers Association. He was employed as a foreman for ODOT for 10 years, retiring in 1984. Prior to that he worked at Firestone Farms and was also the owner and operator of Columbiana Humble Station and Sunoco Station. He also managed Peak?s Truck Stop for ten years. A man of integrity, his interests were hunting, mechanics, and trading horses. His wife, the former Blanche Rinehart, whom he married June 28, 1941 died Jan. 18, 2007. He is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Jack) Wallace of Sandusky, Darlene (David) Jones of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Betty (Steve) Billups of Raleigh, N.C.; three sons, David (Sue) Keylor of Cherokee Village, Ark., Danny Keylor of Dayton and Hyde Keylor of Columbiana; a sister, Geraldine Pyatt of Woodsfield; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Tom, Dick, Harry, and Harold Keylor; and a sister, Martha Lee Harmon. Pastor Jan Winnale will conduct his funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. Burial will follow at Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the U.S. Army Ranger Association, P.O.
