Reuben Schlaht
CLEVELAND -- Reuben Schlaht, 79, Cleveland, died April 26, 2004, at a Jamestown nursing home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown. Burial will be in Cleveland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Arleen; three sons, Larry, Woodland, Calif., Dean, Cleveland, and Dennis, Lexington, N.C.; two daughters, Karen Micek, Downingtown, Pa., and Gail Gulkin, Jamestown; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one foster daughter, Lillian Hofmann, Medina; one sister, Martha Rott, Jamestown; and two brothers, Eugene and Elroy, both of Valley City.

Rueben Schlaht, 79, Cleveland, died Monday, April 26, 2004, in Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center, Jamestown, N.D.
Mr. Schlaht was born Sept. 1, 1924, near Cleveland, where he grew up and attended school. On Sept. 9, 1945, he married Arleen Thornton in Jamestown. They farmed near Cleveland.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Larry (Marty), Woodland, Calif., Dean (Cindy), Cleveland, Dennis (Susan), Lexington, N.C.; two daughters, Karen Micek, Downingtown, Pa., Gail (Bob) Gulkin, Jamestown; a foster daughter, Lillian (Don) Hofmann, Medina, N.D.; two brothers, Eugene, Elroy (Elaine), both Valley City, N.D.; a sister, Martha Rott, Jamestown; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday from 1 to 9 in Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Funeral: Thursday at 1 in the funeral home.
Burial: Cleveland Cemetery.
