Father of Ronald Joseph Almond, Jr., son of Mrs. Anna Marie Kuprion
Almond. Funeral Mass Sat., Nov., 8, 1o a.m. at St. Brigid Church.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitors received at Barrett Funeral Home,
1230 Bardstown Rd., Fri., from noon till 9 p.m. I have not yet
looked up his father's obituary and I never did find his mother's obituary
at all. I have only looked in the Courier Journal, and not the Catholic
newspapers yet. On 4 Aug, just days ago, Louisville received a
cloudburst of rain - 4 and 1/2" to 6" of rain in only 75 minutes, so we
had flash flooding from inadequate drainage - and one of the places
heavily damaged was the main library, where I go to look up obits.
It was a tremendous storm, very sudden, and while we expected rain - not
quite so much rain. The storm settled over Louisville and just kept on
raining! Please let me know IF these photos come through and I will
begin to send MORE! Anna Marie is one of the 5 children of Albert
Joseph adn Agusta Ida Miller Kuprion; Albert Joseph is a son of Charles
Karl and Anna Marie Rogginger Kuprion. Gaye Johnson Hill
