Frederick Delano Fiock, 83, of Montezuma, died at 8:39 pm February 17, 2016 in Union Hospital Terre Haute. He was born December 27, 1932 in Olney, IL to Walter B. Fiock and Margaret Eyer Fiock.
On December 13, 1952, he married Barbara Ann Lewis Fiock in Montezuma. He was a US Marine Veteran, serving during the Korean War period. He started working in Jones Cycle Shop in Olney, IL. He also worked at his house on small engines in Olney. In 1970, he started Fiock Small Engines in Montezuma. He was co-owner of Party Pak Liquors in Montezuma with his wife. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, an avid NASCAR fan, past commander of the Albion American Legion, and was a member of the Newport American Legion. He also was a member of the Parke Masonic Lodge #8.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Fiock; brother, Jim Fiock; and sister-in-law, Emma Lou Fiock.
He is survived by one son, James F. Fiock and Janet of Montezuma; two daughters, Mary Ann Market and her husband Jeff of Coloma and Nancy R. McElroy of Montezuma; nine grandchildren, Brad McElroy, Kristie Manderino, Derick Market, Leslie King and husband Jacob, Jason Fiock and wife Stacy, Ellis Fiock and wife Tiffany, Penny Flood and husband Dustin, Brad Conner, and Alisa Conner; 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Iris Lewis of Tavares, FL; brother-in-law, Kenneth Lewis of Rockville; two nieces, Sharon Kay Perry of Graysville, IN and Diana Bartlow and Paul of Montezuma; and one nephew, Thomas Fiock and wife Jackie of Montezuma.
Visitation will be 4-8 on Sunday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1pm on Monday. Masonic Memorial Services will be held at 7pm Sunday evening. Military honors will be performed by Parke County Veterans Organizations.
